| i read this book "longitudinal structural equation modeling" by Todd Little, who mentioned about the differences between a dichotomous and a dichotomized variable and the different ways needed in estimating association. The author also mentioned that MPLUS can estimate correlation for both types using the appropriate estimation algorithm (pg. 14). So my question is how to differentiate a naturally and an artificially dichotomized variable in MPLUS? thanks! |
