Hello, I have two chi-square values, 158 and 62, both with df = 37. Could anyone tell me how I can test if they differ significantly from each other? Many thanks for your help, Johannes Hoenekopp |

Typically one asks if chi-squares for two models point to one fitting better than the other. Here, however, it sounds like you have the same model because you have the same df. This makes it sound as if you have applied the same model to different samples. If so, you could test if the parameters for the models are the same. But perhaps I am not reading you correctly. |

I have two chi-square values from two different CFA models: 2211.147, DF = 1014 and 1833.564, DF = 847 How I can test if they differ significantly from each other? Many thanks. |

If the models are nested, see our special web page: http://www.statmodel.com/chidiff.shtml |
