Hello Drs. Muthen. We have a longitudinal data set that includes missing data. We would like to perform bootstrapping to test a dual mediational pathway (i.e., two indirect effects). Previously, we tried to do this in AMOS and replaced missing data using the "estimate means and intercepts" function. However, AMOS preventing us from doing bootstrapping because we had used this function. Is there a way to conduct bootstrapping in Mplus when missing data is present? Can you suggest a way to handle the missing data prior to analyses? Is there a way to conduct bootstrapping in Mplus with data that includes estimated means and intercepts? Thank you for your assistance.

The default in Mplus is TYPE=MISSING with means and intercepts included in the model. The BOOTSTRAP option is available in this situation.
