Dear Drs Muthen,

How one can examine if Common Method Variance (CMV) presents in the data, taking into consideration that the data will be analyzed using Multilevel-SEM :path analysis (observed variables only) in Mplus?

I have looked to many techniques to examine CMV. All of them deal with LATENT constructs. However, our sample is not sufficient to use latent variables.

Could you please guide me to a reference/technique to solve this issue in Mplus?

Thank!

This is a good question to send to SEMNET. Typically, the desired quantities can be computed by providing formulas for the Model Constraint command.
