Hi, could you tell me if Mplus has a command to apply importance weights. This would be equivalent to -iweight- in Stata or -caseweight- in Latent Gold. I have 960 cases, and 4 rows per subject with my weighting summing to 1 within subject. If I use the weight variable as a sampling weight, then the weights are rescaled such that my sample appears to be 3840 (i.e. the number of rows in my dataset). many thanks, Jon |

Would the FREQWEIGHT option help you? See the user's guide for a description. |

Hi Linda, looks like FREQWEIGHT requires the weights to be integers, whilst my weights are fractions and sum to one within each individual. |

Then we can't help you at this time. |
