Does Mplus have the capability to model a longitudinal mixture model design in which the objective is to classify the clusters rather than the individuals, e.g. classify teachers, with all students within that teacher assigned to the same class? This would use techniques in Palardy and Vermunt (2010). Thank you.

Yes, Mplus handles between-level latent class variables. For examples, see UG ex10.6 and other examples in chapter 10. See also the papers on our website:
