Class-specific Between Variable Problem |

I am trying to fit a two-class two level model in twin pairs. The twins are modeled with a known class, the other class is estimated. Any attempt to estimate different between level variances of Y results in the error in the subject line. I can't find anything about it online. *** FATAL ERROR CLASS-SPECIFIC BETWEEN VARIABLE PROBLEM. |

Dear Prof. Muthen, I encountered a similar problem and I was wondering how to solve it. I'm trying to model a two-level multiple group model using the KNOWNCLASS option. My model specification is as follows: MODEL: %WITHIN% %OVERALL% PSMU ON wave3 wave4; %c#1% PSMU ON wave3 wave4 (wb1 wb2); PSMU (varw_boys); %c#2% PSMU ON wave3 wave4 (wb3 wb4); PSMU (varw_girls); %BETWEEN% %OVERALL% PSMU ON prevoc native; %c#1% PSMU ON prevoc native (bb1 bb2); PSMU (varb_boys); %c#2% PSMU ON prevoc native (bb3 bb4); PSMU (varb_girls); I would like to free the between-level variance of PSMU across the two classes, but then I get the same error as posted above. How can I solve this issue? Thank you in advance. |
