I am running an LPA with four classes.
I am trying to change the order of my classes and can't seem to make that happen. Specifically, I want the smallest class to be the first class so that the LMR test makes sense to interpret. I have tried using start values for the means and variances within the classes but the largest class still remains the first class (even though I put the means and variances from the smallest class as the start values for class 1). Is there something else I can do?
Thanks.

I would need to see exactly what you are doing. Please send the relevant outputs and your license number to support@statmodel.com.
