Hello, I have a poor model fit, but a significant slope in a basic model assessing for change over time (no covariates). Since my model does not fit the data well, are my model estimates and significant slope finding still able to be interpreted or does this mean my results are uninterpretable since my data doesn't fit the data well? Thanks! SC |

A poor fitting model should not be interpreted. Model fit is not based on significance. |
