Dear Dr. Muthen,
I'm trying to build a parallel LGM with one continuous outcome (BMI) and one categorical outcome (self-rated health) with 3 time points. I'm wondering whether it's possible to build this model using Mplus. Thanks.

Yes. This can be done in line with the Version 8 UG on our website example 6.16.

Dr. Muthen,
Thank you so much for the timely reply. Can I omit the DATA TWOPART command from my model as the two variables are not created from the same continuous variable?

Of course. This example just gives you the general idea.

Hello!

I am trying to build a parallel LGM with one continuous outcome (BMI) at 7 time points and one categorical outcome (risk behaviors) at 3 time points. My categorical outcome has different values at the three time points (T1 has 5 values and T2 and T3 have 4 values).

Can I do a multiple groups analyses with this data?

Thank you!

See the * setting under the Categorical option in the UG.
