Hello.
I am trying to create syntax for a model where I am comparing linear, quadratic, and a curvilinear slopes (specifically, natural log of the slope).
How might I go about creating the syntax?
I know that:
i s q |
is for quadratic and
i s q c |
is for cubic, but i don't know how to create what i need.
Thank you!

Go to http://www.statmodel.com/trainhandouts.shtml and look at slide 102 for Topic 3. This shows how to do what you want.

I have the same problem. I'm doing a path analysis and I want to test is there any curvlinear effect. I didn't find the slide Linda talked about... Thank you very much.

In the most recent Topic 3 course handout see Slides 118 and 119.
