How to interpret continuous-time surv... |

Dear Linda, I have a question on result interpretation for the continuous-time survival analysis. Following example 6.21, I specified a model in which SURVIVAL = days to event (DTE) and TIMECENSORED = resign (0 = resign or NOT; 1 = stay or RIGHT censored). I have a few explanatory variables (X1-X4). I would like to know if I interpret this correctly. The negative coefficients between X-variables and DTE suggest that the probability that the respondents will resign from the program is getting lower if they rated higher on X-variables. In contrast, the positive effects suggest there is a high probability that the respondents will leave the program if they rated high on X-variables. Thanks. Pat |
