Hi,

This is the first time I am using MPLUS, and I was trying to get some sample statistics---i keep getting the same error message which I don't really understand:

*** ERROR
Unexpected end of file reached in data file.

can someone please help? does it have something to do with missing data? I imported the data file from SPSS and I didn't code the missing values, I just left an empty box with a "."

It sounds like you have blanks in your data set and are trying to read it as free format. If you can't figure this out, send your input, data, output, and license number to support@statmodel.com.
