Dear Linda, I am trying to run a multiple group analysis and test for differences between tests (long test & short test). I am working on factorial Invariance between a full version test (A test, 10item) and a short version test (B test , 7item). B test has been developed as a short version of A test. Therefore, since B test is a short version, there are some missing data in B test data set. So DATA set form version item1~7 / item8~10 1(long) response response 2(short) response missing input variable:names=version item1-item10; missing= .; usevariables=item1-item10; GROUPING = version(1 = long 2 = short); MODEL: F1 BY item1-item10; MODEL SHORT: F1 By item1-item7; However, M-plus could not read the missing data when conducting factorial invariance analysis, which the syntax said as follows: WARNING in ANALYSIS command One or more variables in the data set have no non-missing values. Check your data and format statement. Would you please give me any advice to solve this problem? also I wonder how m-plus run a multiple group analysis with two group that have different number of observed variables. Regards, Bitna |
