Dear Professors,
I am wondering whether it is possible to do reliability test for scales in Mplus. Most of my analyses are conducted using Mplus. To be consistent, I would like to obtain alphas using Mplus as well. Could you let me know whether Mplus can allow reliability test and whether I can using “missing” command when conducting reliability test? Thanks a lot. |

| Alpha reliability is not obtained automatically by Mplus. However, I think the SEM literature has shown how to compute alpha using latent variable modeling - I am not familiar with this since I don't use alpha. You may want to ask this question on SEMNET, or perhaps there are readers of Mplus Discussion who know the answer. |
