Hello all, My lab has come up against a wall with an unusual problem. We are working with a data set that has a lot of missing data (MCAR), but 183 cases that we wish to include in the analysis. However, every time we run, MPlus reports 112 observations - we have tried turning listwise on and off, have specified our analyses as basic, missing, and estimator = ml, but none of it makes a difference. We have examined the raw data and there are indeed 183 cases. We have left the missing values blank and specified that with "missing = ." Any ideas of what we are doing wrong? |

If the missing values are blanks, the data will be read incorrectly with free format. I'm not sure why you would specify MISSING=. if the missing values are blanks. |
