Is it possible to use the interactive/interrupt commands for a Monte Carlo simulation? I've specified a categorical ESEM simulation for sample size planning, and over the course of running the last 5 days, it is only on iteration 8 of 50. I'm looking to see if it's possible to check interim results.

Yes, the INTERACTIVE option is available for Monte Carlo. Unfortunately, it is not available in the middle of an Mplus run without prior specification in the input file. But if you have given the filename for the INTERACTIVE option for this run, you should be able to set the INTERRUPT line to 1 and it will skip the current set of random starts.
