I am new in Mplus and especially in path analysis,so, in advance sorry for this newbie question. I have 7 exogenous variables (dichotomous and continuous) and an endogenous variable (dichotomous) for 130 observations. I want to make a path analysis, can you tell me if this is feasible with N = 130 and with a lot of variables (8 variables)? Regards M |

It sounds like you have a regression model with a binary dependent variable and seven observed exogenous covariates. It would seem your sample size is adequate for a probit or logistic regression of these data. |

Thank you for your reply Linda, i forgot to tell you that i have also some mediating variables (2 variables). |

Now you have added parameters to your model. You can use a Monte Carlo study to investigate whether your sample size is large enough. |
