The Kaiser-Meyer-Oklin statistic for sampling adequacy. It's output by SPSS EFA and interpretation is suggested by some of my resources for determining how "good" your sample size is relative to your number of items (and some other factors, I think).
Is it not implemented in mplus? Would you suggest that monte carlo simulations in mplus are better anyway?
It is not implemented in Mplus. I would not know if Monte Carlo simulations are better but this is what is available in Mplus.

Hi! I am going to use Mplus for CFA. I am not sure if I should check Kaiser-Meyer-Oklin statistic or Bartlett’s test of sphericity to see if my data is adequate for factor analysis. If these estimates can't be implemented, what kind of an alternative can I use instead in Mplus?
