Hello, I'm conducting a CFA and having trouble with rotating orthogonally. I receive a message that ROTATION=VARIMAX and ROTATION=PROMAX are only available for TYPE=EFA. How do I go about rotating the model orthogonally? Thank you in advance. |

CFA by definition does not involve rotation. CFA already has the at least m*m restrictions on Lambda and Psi parameters to be identified. EFA on the other hand needs to apply m*m restrictions to give an identified model and that is settled by the rotation. But perhaps you mean something different by orthogonally rotating in CFA. |
