I transferred data from an existing stata data set to MPLUS by using the stata2mplus command. However, when I ran some basic descriptive statistics in MPLUS my variable means were way off. I checked to be sure the order of the variables were correct. Any idea on why my variable means may be way off? |

It would seem that you are reading the data incorrectly. If you can't figure it out, please send the input, data, output, and your license number to support@statmodel.com. |

Any suggestions on why it would read incorrectly? I double checked the order of the variables- they are correct. |

I would have to see it to answer that question. If it were from SPSS, I would guess blanks for missing data but with Stata I really don't know. |
