Hello,

I have been trying to use sampling weights in my CFA and SEM analyses.

Unfortunately, I get the following error message: "Sampling weights is not available for estimator ML."

What should I do?

Respectfully,
HB

Use MLR. With weights and ML, the standard errors are not ML. This is why we do not allow it. With MLR, you will obtain ML parameter estimates and robust standard errors.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for responding so quickly during the holiday season!

I read on the Mplus manual that with MLR I should also specify Type=Complex along with stratification. I followed these instructions and I believe things are working well.

Please correct me if I'm some how confused.

Best,
HB
