I would like explore how a SEM model is different between at the beginning of a semester and the end of a semester. So, I will administrate the same survey to same people at different time points (beginning, end). In this case, can I use a structured mean analysis in SEM? If so, to make a measurement model before comparing two models, do I have to have all data from both beginning and end of a semester? If this is wrong, what SEM analysis method should be used? Thank you in advance for your help. |

You would need to have both sets of data. You would need to establish measurement invariance across time before comparing factor means or other structural parameters. |
