I have two models. Same data. Same variables. Different paths.
In model 1, I specify an indirect path. I have 3 df.
MODEL:
APSQ ON SEDU2008;
SEDU2008 ON PEDU2000;
PEDU2000 ON PEDU1994;
MODEL INDIRECT:
APSQ IND PEDU1994;
In model 2, I don't specify it. I have 2 df, and MPLUS outputs a WITH statement (SEDU2008 WITH APSQ).
APSQ ON PEDU1994;
SEDU2008 ON PEDU2000;
PEDU2000 ON PEDU1994;
So why:
a. Model 1 has 3 df and model 2 has only 2 df?
b. Model 2 outputs a WITH statement I have not asked for? |
