Dear prof, I have a question about the dimension in Mplus 5. I checked the number of dimesion in my two-part mixed-effects model code (as follows)on the pup-out Dos windows, the number is 3. itu stu | tu1 - tu4 AT age1- age4; itm stm | tm1 - tm4 AT age1- age4; To my knowldege, beiefly speaking, the number of dimension equals to the number of latent variables. In the model above, all the latent variables have random effects, which are allowed to covary with each other. So, I think the dimension number should be 4 rather than 3. Would you help me to figure out what is the problem here? |

Please send your full output and license number to support@statmodel.com. It is not just the number of latent variables. |
