Hello,

I used Mplus for the same data set two times. First, I just chose the BASIC option. Here I got the same mean and variances also given by SPSS. Next time I computed a model and chose as output option the SAMPSTAT option. Again the correct means were given but the variances were not the same. What is the reason for this?

Best

Christopher

They should be the same. I would have to see the two outputs and your license number at support@statmodel.com to answer your question.
