Professors, I have a question on interaction. I intend to include some interactions between observed variables. I did as follows: DEFINE: unidg=uniscr*demgopcg; unidist=uniscr*dist1mj; unidvd=uniscr*dvdgvt; dvdprz=dvdgvt*przpoz01; unikey=uniscr*keyiss; But in the output, it always say: ERROR in Model command Unknown variable(s) in an ON statement: UNIDIST Maybe I have got the command wrong. But I do not know how. Notes: Among the observed variables I am using, some are continuous, others are categorical. Thanks a lot. John |

You need to put the new variables on the USEVARIABLES list -- at the end after any original variables. |

I am also having this problem, despite having added the new variable to the end of the use variables list. Is there a way to fix this? |

You must be doing something else wrong but we need to see the full output to say - send to Support along with your license number. |
