Dear Mplus team,
I want to run a three-level CFA in Mplus 7.
I have 3 continues variables (with 4 items each), 2 dummy variables, and 2 ordinal variables.

In the model, 4 variables have variance on both the within(interaction-level)and between levels (day and person level), and the other 4 have only variance on the within.

I wonder if there is somewhere an example for such a model, and how should the syntax look like. Would it be sufficient to use the dummy variable with the "normal" syntax for multilevel CFA? (Factor BY dummy) or should the dummies and ordinal variables be treated otherwise?

Thank you very much in advance.

I assume that all the variables you mention are factor indicators. If so, put the dummy and ordinal variables on the Categorical= list.
