Hi, I want to run a three level model with Q measured at four times points (level 1) so that I can examine variability between participants (level 2) and betweem classes of participants (level 3). I just really want to check that I'm using the correct syntax please. Cluster=class; Analysis: Type=twolevel; Model: %within% I S | Q1@0 Q2@1 Q3@2 Q4@3 %between% I S | Q1@0 Q2@1 Q3@2 Q4@3 Other than specifying which variables I want to include etc, do I need to include anything else? Any help you could give is greatly appreciated as I'm new to MLM. Thanks Josie |

You want to give different names for the growth factors on Between, such as ib, sb. Otherwise it looks ok. See the handout for Topic 8 on the web site - under 3-level analysis. |
