Hi,

I am trying to run the syntax below but keep getting an error. I would like to ask for a suggestion on how to fix this.

I managed to make some progress since yesterday and it seems that MPlus reads the syntax, it is just a matter of figuring out the issue below. I appreciate your support.

Invalid symbol in data file:
"0" at record #: 1, field #: 1

Open the data set in the Mplus Windows Editor. Delete the invalid symbol at the beginning of the data set and save the data. This is a problem with a recent version of SPSS.
