Hello,
I ran an LCA using the syntax below and while the model terminated just fine, when I go to view the plots I am only given the options of Histograms, Scatterplots, and Sample proportions and estimated probabilities. I have run a number of LPAs before and not had this problem and am not sure what to do to fix it. Here is the syntax:

variable: names are ID y1-y21;
usevariables are y2-y21;
CATEGORICAL = y2-y21;
classes = c(3);
missing is all (99);
auxiliary=id ;
Analysis: type = mixture;
STARTS=100 10;

plot: type=plot3;
series is y2(1) y3(2) y4(3) y5(4) y6(5) y7(6) y8(7) y9(8) y10(9) y11(10) y12(11)
y13(12) y14(13) y15(14) y16(15) y17(16) y18(17) y19(18) y20(19) y21(20);
savedata: file Initial3.txt;
save is cprob;
format is free;
output: entropy tech11;

I am having a similar problem. I am using version 7.11. With TYPE = MIXTURE, I also only this same limited set of plots with PLOT3. What was the solution?

I think what you are looking for is the series plots. The plots of sample proportions and estimated probabilities are series plots.

Thanks for the response Linda. I can see where that option is now so I am all set!

I found what I needed by selecting the plot "Sample proportions and estimated probabilities" then under "Line plot probabilities for multiple variables in a series" I selected "Plot sample proportions only." That worked out for me, hope it does the same for you!

I'm running a manual BCH LCA with a covariate and 4 distal outcomes.

I requested plot3 put am not getting "Estimated probabilities for a categorical latent variable as a function of its covariates".

All I'm getting is:
Historgams (sample values)
Scatterplots (sample values)
Estimated overall and class-specific distributions

Is "Estimated ... covariates" not possible during BCH? I have seen the plot before on some preliminary models I have built.
