After conducting seperate latent profile analyses at three timepoints I identified a 4-category best fitting model at each of the three timepoints. The entropy scores were >90% at each time point.

When I conducted a latent transition analysis using these three latent variables, the entropy score was 77%. Is it normal for the entropy of a latent transition analysis to be lower than the entropy score of each latent model on its own (at each timepoint)?

This can happen. The parameter estimates change a bit when you do a joint analysis of all time points.
