Hi,

I am running GMMs with time varying covariates across 4 time points. As the Tech11 and Tech14 options are not available with TYPE = RANDOM, are there other ways to determine the best number of classes, besides the use of BIC?

No, unless you get TECH10 due to categorical outcomes.
