Hi,

my PC is really struggling at the minute with an LTA model I'm running

We have a 'cluster' here in the department for running large programs, but I've never used it and wouldn't know where to start.

Before I start asking the relevant people at this end, I thought I would ask if such a thing were actually possible with Mplus.

many thanks

Jon

What is the operating system? Unix?

Unix apparently

Mplus is not currently available on Unix. Mplus can take advantage of multiple processors on a Windows machine.

That's a shame

I have a two-processor machine at home but run times are quite long and the machine is tied up and can't perform much else

I guess with an LTA with a sample of 5500, three time points and 4 latent classes at each time points derived from 12 binary variables, I should expect it to take a while.

Thanks anyway

Jon
