These are my usual settings for BLRT: k-1starts = 100 20; lrtstarts 0 0 150 15; lrtbootstrap 100; consequently I can understand the warning WARNING: THE BEST LOGLIKELIHOOD VALUE WAS NOT REPLICATED IN 64 OUT OF 100 BOOTSTRAP DRAWS. THE P-VALUE MAY NOT BE TRUSTWORTHY DUE TO LOCAL MAXIMA. INCREASE THE NUMBER OF RANDOM STARTS USING THE LRTSTARTS OPTION. but not the warning WARNING: THE BEST LOGLIKELIHOOD VALUE WAS NOT REPLICATED IN 18 OUT OF 22 BOOTSTRAP DRAWS. THE P-VALUE MAY NOT BE TRUSTWORTHY DUE TO LOCAL MAXIMA. INCREASE THE NUMBER OF RANDOM STARTS USING THE LRTSTARTS OPTION. where does the 22 come from in the latter warning? many thanks Jon |

Please send the input, data, output, and license number to support@statmodel.com. I would need to look into this. |
