Hello! When saving classmembership the output file contains only the usevariables, I would like to be able to export the class membership variable back into the original SPSS file for basic handling. How can I make the output contain the id-variable inorder to match the original file? thanks in advance |

See the IDVARIABLE option of the VARIABLE command. |

When I use IDVARIABLE command as followed: USEVARIABLES = rattkod aHAD_ang dHAD_ang EHAD_ang fHAD_ang; IDVARIABLE = rattkod; MISSING = ALL(-999); CLASSES = c(4); etc. and "rattkod" being the variable with the id-kod in it, I get the following error message *** ERROR Invalid symbol in data file: "1101" at record #: 1, field #: 1 Inspecting the data in the text file, I see that 1101 is my first id-value (first person first variable). Why is the programm not being able to read it and what is ""? |
