Hello,
Is there a way to receive any modification indices when conducting a Latent Growth Curve with imputed data on the independent variable? I am trying to do the modindices in the output statement but MPLUS says it cannot do modification indices when data are imputed.
So is this not available at all?

*** WARNING in OUTPUT command
MODINDICES option is not available for multiple imputation.

Thank you for your time.

Right, not available. One of the bells and whistles lost with MI compared to "FIML".

A follow-up question of the previous post: in the case of multiple imputation, what are some ways to revise the model in order to improve the model fit? If model indices are not provided, can we only revise the model based on theory or try different ways one by one?

Try Model Test.
