Dear Dr Muthen, The dummy variables in my imputed datasets have values other than 1 and 0. I specified them as categorical variables in the IMPUTE option and thought it will generate a value of 1 or 0 for these variables. Is this how mplus works or I made some mistakes in setting up the imputation model? Below is how I specified the model. thank you! USEVARIABLES = pid schid pre post dexp2 dexp3 dpov2 dpov3 dpov4; WITHIN = pre post dexp2 dexp3; BETWEEN = (schid) dpov2 dpov3 dpov4; CLUSTER = pid schid; MISSING = ALL (-9); DATA IMPUTATION: IMPUTE= pre post dpov2 (c) dpov3 (c) dpov4 (c) dexp2 (c) dexp3 (c); NDATASETS=5; SAVE= imp*.dat; ANALYSIS: TYPE=CROSSCLASSIFIED; ESTIMATOR=BAYES; Process=2; BITERATIONS=2000000 (10000); |

Sorry. I cannot share the data. Could I just send syntax and output? thank you! |

Send the output but that probably won't be sufficient. |
