Hi folks, I was wondering if there was a limit to the number of missing data patterns that Mplus can handle using patmiss and patprobs. My code seems to work just fine when I model only three groups, but when I try to look at 27 different patterns, I get a message that the number of patterns don't match the number of patterns in the patprobs statement. I've checked the manual and the code repeatedly, but wondered if there was a limit to the program that I wasn't aware of. thanks! |

There is no built in limit. If you send your input, output, and license number to support@statmodel.com, I will take a look at it. |

Hey, i'm doing my first analysis with mplus. Now I'm getting the follwing warning: *** WARNING Data set contains unknown or missing values for GROUPING, PATTERN, COHORT, CLUSTER and/or STRATIFICATION variables. Number of cases with unknown or missing values: 18 My question is: what is the consequence or the meaning of this warning. Thanks in advance |

You have specified at least one of these options and that variable has missing data. Either delete this observation (subject) or find the missing data. |
