Hi folks,
I was wondering if there was a limit to the number of missing data patterns that Mplus can handle using patmiss and patprobs. My code seems to work just fine when I model only three groups, but when I try to look at 27 different patterns, I get a message that the number of patterns don't match the number of patterns in the patprobs statement. I've checked the manual and the code repeatedly, but wondered if there was a limit to the program that I wasn't aware of.
thanks!

There is no built in limit. If you send your input, output, and license number to support@statmodel.com, I will take a look at it.

Hey,

i'm doing my first analysis with mplus. Now I'm getting the follwing warning:

*** WARNING
Data set contains unknown or missing values for GROUPING,
PATTERN, COHORT, CLUSTER and/or STRATIFICATION variables.
Number of cases with unknown or missing values: 18

My question is: what is the consequence or the meaning of this warning.

Thanks in advance

You have specified at least one of these options and that variable has missing data. Either delete this observation (subject) or find the missing data.
