Dear Linda and Bengt,

We would like to perform EFA on eating behavior data collected from 3 different centers. What is the best way to account for the variability across centers?

The number of subjects from the centers are
1) n=960
2) n= 204
3) n = 78
Will the estimate be highly weighed by the larger center? Is there a way to prevent this?
Thank you

Q1: Use ESEM (see UG), either in a multiple-group setting or using dummy variables to represent the centers.

Q2: Yes.

Q3: No, unless you want to randomly sample from the first/large center.
