i am doing my project for topic :
whether scoring pinalty effecting parameter c (guessing)

i'm going to :
1. run bilog for estimating the parameters 3 PL (as estimate 1)
2. run Mplus for estimating the parameters 2PL and CFA, because i only have demo version
(as true score)

and correlate number 1 to number 2 to see how strong do they correlate.

do you think it's ok to compare those two steps, because they were resulted
from two different programs.

if you have some articles to explain it i would be grateful

thank you for your answer

The same model run in two different programs using the same data and same estimator will yield the same results. The issue is not the program but the model.

You are running different models in Bilog and Mplus. What aspect of these models are you correlating?

If you want to compare factor scores, you can do this in Bilog. Just run with and without the guessing parameter.
