Hello

Is it appropriate to use ML estimation in Mplus with standardized variables?

In my SR model, my IV is a standardized version of pubertal timing (regress status on age and take the standardized residual).

This is the only standardized variable but I'm not sure using ML would be best practices. Thank you.

This is not recommended, at least not with models that are not scale free (e.e.g equality constraints of factor loadings across variables). But it is probably ok for a standardized x.
