Hi Muthen, Is there any way to save/export residual score from a regression model (after regressing y on x ) in Mplus? Thank you. |
|
|
You can plot residuals using the plot menu and then save the data used in the plot. |

Thank you Bengt. Could you please elaborate a little more? After defining the model y on x, should I specify plot: type = plot 1? scatterport? then what are the steps will bring me to find the residual values? Thank you! |

I always ask for Plot: Type = Plot3; Then when you've run it, look at the plot menu option. |

Hello, Following the previous posts, I asked for Plot 3, but I am not sure how to specifically have the residuals plotted. I do not see a tab for this on the plot menu option. Can you please advise? Also, for the exported data, how is it ordered (e.g., based on the ordering of the original dataset)? Thanks. |

Look at the scatter plot option and scroll down to residuals. |
