What is the best regression model for discrete dependent variable (e.g. eye fatigue level: 0-6) and categorical independent variables (e.g. visual acuity: 0.5 or 1 and gender: F or M). Can anyone suggest regression other than linear regression model? Is the model available in Mplus and how to use it? |

You could consider either logistic or probit regression. See Examples 3.4 and 3.5 in the Mplus User's Guide. |

Dear Drs. Muthen, I am running a multiple regression in MPlus 8 using FIML to account for some missingness among my independent variables. I am wondering whether it is possible to save out the model-based predicted values of my outcome (perhaps using the SAVEDATA feature). I would like to use these predicted values in a figure. Thanks so much for your time, -Eric |

FIML does not impute values. It uses all available information. |
