Hello,

in a twolevel intercepts-as-outcome-model,
which syntax command should be used in order to save the within-group residual variances per group (the sigma_sqrd_j's)?

I'd like to use these within-group variances for furhter analyses.

Many thanks for your response

You can save all parameters estimates by using the RESULTS option of the SAVEDATA command. You cannot save selected parameters.

Thank you for your response - maybe I doing something wrong here, please have a look. I simply used example 9.1 from the UG and added the command:

SAVEDATA: results = test_1.dat;

However, the test_1.dat definitely does not contain the group (= cluster units, n = 110)- specific residuals. Is there any alternative?

Many thanks for your reply,

Tino

The parameter estimates, standard errors, etc. are saved. The values from the results section of the output. This file does not have rows of clusters. See the end of the output where it is saved and you will see what is saved and the format.
