Hello Dr. Muthen,

I plan on conducting an EFA and then using the derived factors to predict self-reported symptoms on an ADHD measure. However, the sample is comprised only of participants with ADHD. If the self-reported symptoms are limited in range I plan on conducting a censored regression. I have approximately 200 participants. Is this an adequate sample size for a censored regression? Is there a specific rule of thumb when it comes to sample sizes using a censored regression approach? Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

That should be enough if you have a substantial number at the censoring point. Our book shows how to do simulations to be sure.
