Why are intercepts counted as number of parameters in the multilevel model but not in the aggregate model?

Thanks.

Before Version 5, some parts of Mplus did not include means in the model as the default. Now they are always included.

I run 3 latent variables with each variable has almost 10 observed variables.

I get this message, as my model doesn`t run properly.

THE LOGLIKELIHOOD DECREASED IN THE LAST EM ITERATION. CHANGE YOUR MODEL AND/OR STARTING VALUES.

THE MODEL ESTIMATION DID NOT TERMINATE NORMALLY DUE TO AN ERROR IN THE COMPUTATION. CHANGE YOUR MODEL AND/OR STARTING VALUES.

As I reduce number of latent variables, I get the model result proper. Is there any limitation on numbers of parameters or observe variable that included in Multilevel CFA model. Or can you suggest me something?

Very much appreciate
