In confirming my model results, I copied to the input the final starting values from the initial run's output (svalues command). For some reason this results in the following errors:

*** ERROR in MODEL command
One or more pairs of ordered thresholds are not increasing in Class 1.
Check your starting values. Problem with the following pairs:
BM_4CAT$1 (-15.000) and BM_4CAT$2 (-15.000)
*** ERROR in MODEL command
One or more pairs of ordered thresholds are not increasing in Class 3.
Check your starting values. Problem with the following pairs:
BM_4CAT$1 (15.000) and BM_4CAT$2 (15.000)
BM_4CAT$2 (15.000) and BM_4CAT$3 (15.000)

Why would there be a problem with the starting values if I took them directly from the final model output?
