Hi,
I'm doing an LPA and have requested the new data file using the SaveData command.
In opening the new file in SPSS, I look at the frequencies for each of the original variables and find that one case on one variable has changed from being missing data (-9) to a value of 262. The value range of all variables is between 1 and 7. (Other missing data has also been changed, but to within the 1 to 7 range)
There is also another case on the same variable that has been changed from a value of 1 to a value of 10.

Given that my dataset has only got 350 cases in total, these now "outliers" are having a great effect on the output.

Do you know why they are being changed so significantly?

We have to see it to tell what's happening - send relevant files to Support along with your license number.

Hi,
No worries - I found the problem.
Thanks!
