Hi,

I'm very new to LPA so I'm very much in the learning stages of how to run a model. I'm trying to discern whether there are latent profiles among certain continuous work-related variables. I have run an explorative model with one class and 4 profiles.

The means for the model results are different to the standardised (STDYX) results, however, which confuses me. The observed variables are all on a scale of 1-5, missing values are specified as -99 and the sample stats produced in MPlus are the same as those I get using the SPSS data which I'm using to run this LPA. Can you help? I've been unable to diagnose the problem.

Any help much appreciated, thank you!

I don't understand - send your output to Support along with your license number and point to the numbers that confuse you.

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me. I'm afraid I don't know where to look for the license number. I can't find it in the User's guide back page (which I think is where it should be according to the website) or in the program I've got installed on my machine. Would you mind telling me where to look?

Thank you,

Caroline
